Our site in Manchester is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®).
This certification testifies that our products are sourced from responsibly managed forests which pertain to FSC’s standards and principles – a framework proven to reduce deforestation and improve biodiversity.
This means our customers are assured that our products will allow them to reduce their own environmental footprint and aid them in reaching their own sustainability objectives.
Our site in Grimsby is BRCGS Storage and Distribution certified – an accreditation that is the benchmark for global food safety standards. This certification demonstrates that we adhere to the highest quality standards required for food safety.
As a result, through our well-designed risk-based management system our customers can have confidence that we follow best practices pertaining to food safety.
Our Manchester site is ISO 9001 accredited – the world’s most renowned global standard for Quality Management.
This ensures that a management system, manufacturing process, or documentation procedure has all the requirements for standardisation and quality assurance.
This certification evidences our commitment to consistently providing products of a high quality that meet the needs of our customers.
In 2024, we have partnered with Two Sides – a not for profit company centred around anti-greenwashing, and telling the sustainable story of paper and paperboard products.
Two Sides’ aim lies in dispelling environmental misconceptions to inspire businesses and consumers around the world with fact-based information regarding the sustainability of paper.
Two Sides also aims to tackle greenwashing, which is estimated to cost the European print, paper & mailing industry over €337 million annually.
Our partnership with Two Sides enables us to use their Love Paper logo on our products and be a part of the movement to educate businesses and consumers about the benefits of paper-based products and defend our industry against misinformation.
We are a member of the British Furniture Manufacturers (BFM), a trade association that has represented the industry’s interests in the UK since 1947.
Membership for the BFM acts as a uniting body that encourages collaboration between British manufacturers.
Our membership illustrates the commitment we have in supporting our domestic industry, allowing it to flourish and move forward.
Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce
We are a member of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, the largest chamber of commerce in the UK.
With over 4000 members, GMCC provides a platform for local businesses and institutions to collaborate and connect.
This membership allows us to support and form vital relationships with local organisations and affiliate more closely with our local community.
As the world moves quickly around us, we see it as our responsibility for positive change to begin within our local community, and this is what we strive to achieve.
To further support our industry, we are members of the Paper and Board Associate (P&BA). Members of the Association supply nearly half of the paper and board consumed in the UK.
Being a member of the P&BA ensures that a large portion of our domestic industry is pulling in the same direction on key issues such as sustainability.
We also have held a longstanding partnership with Manchester
Metropolitan University.
We have, and continue to embark on a number of projects with
the university, leveraging the knowledge that their professors, students and
associates can bring to our business and industry.
This partnership has allowed us to strengthen our innovation
efforts in recent years and allows the university to benefit from case studies, and data for academic journals, along with higher performing students through the
industry experience they gain with us.
